I'd give this place a Michellin star, I love the food here!! great Mediterranean cuisine. We ordered #9 platter and ate everything. So good! I would definitely recommend this place.

Mama's Kabab is a family-owned restaurant stationed in a decent strip mall. The place has a cafeteria feel to it, nothing fancy, there is a TV on the wall on mute. The service is great and friendly. The front desk takes your order and delivers it to your table. We see many takeout orders, or small groups of friends and family getting together for a casual meal. Hope the couple who run it hang in there, their food has a home-made quality, it is the only place where the kababs are authentic, really tender, cooked to perfection and the lamb shank does not smell strange. We love coming here when we are in the area. The restaurant closes on Sundays and from Christmas to January 2nd.

First time to be here. A friend invited me for lunch . My friend ordered chicken wrap and I ordered beef kabab plate. My beef was tender and melts in my mouth . Rice is soft and not dry . They have ample serving . I truly enjoyed my order. I will be coming back again with other friends.

Had to stop here again for some Chicken Kebab and Shawerma earlier this week for lunch in my old stomping grounds. Mamas Kabab is one of the best places to eat in Cypress. Prices are kind of slim, and the food is delicious. Nice staff, and lots of hummus on my plate. Can't be that bad.

I really enjoyed this meal. Maybe the best hummus I've ever had. Good value. Been back once already and will again when I'm in the area.

Good homemade food but prepare to wait! Phone in your order for faster service. I always see the lovely couple working and yes they do work at their own pace but the food tastes simple yet delicious. I had the chicken kabob plate and the chicken kabob sandwich/wrap and it always hits. Garlic sauce is a must. Hummus was good for dipping chicken and pita bread in. Pickled veggies gave the meal a nice acidic component. The chicken sandwich had fresh lettuce and onions and tomatoes with garlic sauce. I've had the samplers plate and every thing has a homemade look and taste. Price are very fair compared to other kabob places. I love coming here and supporting the elderly couple!

This place reminds me of going to your grandparents for dinner. Makes me miss my grandma, rip. She always made the best Vietnamese food! This is old style mom and pop shop. He still writes down the order on a receipt paper and then types the pricing on the cash register. We came here during lunch and ordered the steak bowl (I believe). Honestly it was a good price and good portion. The garlic sauce was delicious and so was the tahini sauce. I can tell they have been in business for a long time. It's just him and his wife st the shop! Definitely will support them as much as I can. I do enjoy the food and my baby loves the pita bread!!!! Good price for Mediterranean food!

Another hidden gem in a strip mall, this time in Cypress. The outside looks older and the menus/signs not well maintained, but don't let that deter you from trying Mama's Kabab. Ordered the combo plate with salad which had kafta kebab, chicken kebab and I think beef shawarma with a generous serving of salad and hummus as well as pita and garlic sauce. The chicken and beef were both fantastic; both tasty and tender. The only complaint I have is the kafta kebab was a little overcooked and thus dry. The pita was okay but also a little dry. Reasonable price for a generous portion. Team is quiet but welcoming. Would definitely come back if in the area.
